WELLSITE APP
The newest version of the Wellsite App (ver. 0.21.0) has been released for use by our partners for field-testing. This version includes new features based on the great feedback we have received from field trial participants, in particular the Ensign team.
To allow for inclusion of a directional drilling team, Weatherford will be joining our Cooper Basin field trial in partnership with Ensign and Santos and for increasing workover representation, Easternwell are joining in partnership with Shell/QGC.
With the system going progressively “live” from April, this increases our field testing partners and early digital adopters who are:
- Ensign in partnership with Santos (Cooper Basin)
- Wild Desert in partnership with Santos (Cooper Basin)
- Schlumberger in partnership with Shell QGC (Queensland)
- Schlumberger as service provider to Santos and Ensign (Cooper Basin)
- Weatherford as service provider to Santos and Ensign (Cooper Basin)
- Easternwell in partnership with Shell QGC (Queensland)
- Nitschke Drilling in partnership with Origin Energy (Queensland)
DIGITAL ADMINISTRATION SYSTEM (DAS)
Following migrating the data from WPTWA Learning Management System to the new Digital Administration System (or DAS) all currently registered Permit to Work users (more than 14,000) will be notified by email or SMS to log in and create their user account in the Wellsite Digital System. One feature of this approach is that every user can create their own unique password for use with the system and be able to reset that password if it is forgotten.
This will also enable users to enrol directly within any Wellsite Permit to Work online training courses and immediately get access to the online learning resources for using the new digital system.
The DAS provides many functions to Member Company Admin, Representative, Training Coordinator, Account, and IT, such as:
- Enrolling their staff at almost any time into online training via DAS
- Generating many useful reports on permits and certification status of their employees
- Customisable Dashboard Graphs
To assist us in preparing for this change we have requested all Member Companies to nominate personnel who will be interacting with the Wellsite Digital System, so we can setup the principal users in DAS.
So far 50% of Member companies have responded and provided the information and we will continue to liaise with the remaining Member Companies in coming weeks as we progressively go “live” with the system.
SYSTEM TRAINING
There will be various training and support tools available for those who will use the Wellsite App and DAS including instructional videos and a user manual.
