Happy new year and to those of you who took a break over the festive season, welcome back. I hope you got some time to unwind, relax and recharge ahead of what will be another big year in 2021.

As we kick-off the new year I believe we have a lot to be optimistic about. While COVID-19 will continue to be disruptive, we’ve demonstrated our ability to quickly adapt and we will continue to evolve the way we work for the better. I also believe that 2021 will bring enormous opportunity for us to position Wellsite Permit to Work for success in the years ahead.  Our industry and the business environment continue to change rapidly, so we’ll need to continue to stay focused on the future.

I am happy to report that the Wellsite Permit to Work Association is continuing to adapt to industry flux and striving to develop new and meaningful improvements to support our Members.

One of these improvements, is the Online Introductory Course which is aimed at people entering into the industry who have never been on a wellsite before. This course will provide a background on the WPTW System, site hazards, roles and responsibilities and how work is authorised via the WPTW. In its final stages of development, we are anticipating to release this course to the industry in early March 2021.
