Dear Members,
I’m pleased to welcome you to this edition of the WPTWA Newsletter.
As always, our focus remains on supporting the safe and effective use of the Wellsite Permit to Work System across the industry. Through this publication, we aim to keep you informed of important developments, respond to common queries, and share insights that help ensure consistent and confident application of the system at your sites.
Over recent months, we have seen strong engagement from Members across the sector. Whether it is contributing to focus groups, piloting enhancements, or providing valuable feedback, your involvement continues to shape the direction of the Wellsite System. We appreciate the time and commitment you invest in making the System work better for everyone.
We are pleased to welcome Jasper Methods Pty Ltd as the newest Member of the WPTWA. We look forward to their contribution and collaboration in supporting safe and consistent permit practices across the industry.
We would also like to acknowledge the resignation of Nick Birt (MinRes) from the System Operations Committee (SOC). Nick has been a valued member of the SOC, and we thank him for his contributions and wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.
Looking ahead, the WPTWA remains committed to refining digital processes, strengthening contractor engagement, and confirming clear, practical guidance is always available. In this issue, you will find updates on recent changes, reminders on system usage, and answers to questions raised by users in the field.
Thank you for your ongoing support and collaboration. Together, we’re building a safer and more efficient industry.
Warm regards,
Ron Seldon
