The proliferation of Wellsite Digital and the Digital Administration System is progressing well and is expanding into its second phase. Many member companies are now using Wellsite Digital across three states with over 8,000 digital permits having been generated.  Approximately 15,000 people have now been trained in the system including almost 1770 in the last 12 months.

Throughout the rollout process, the Association has been able to work directly with role holders and other key stakeholders to identify and implement improvement opportunities as they arise.

We are currently in the initial stages of a comprehensive overhaul of the training packages. This update will not only incorporate the transition to Wellsite Digital but also the developments made in further incorporating, within all of our training programmes, the principles of adult learning.

The Annual General Meeting was held on the 27th October 2022 with several Member Representatives attending. It was pleasing to be able to report attainment of our goals while maintaining strong position during the 21-22 period.

I would like to offer my thanks to all the Board and SOC Members and their employers for their continuing contributions to the Association. Their time and efforts have been crucial in progressing the Industry’s transition to Wellsite Digital and in ensuring the Association continues to deliver to its Members.

I would like to wish all a merry and safe festive season and look forward to a prosperous 2023.

Yours sincerely
