2021 is well and truly underway and the level of industry activity is high, creating some pressure but also expanding opportunities for Association Members. The Board would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest Member Companies – Weatherford Australia, CS Gas and Qteq.
The Board, with the assistance of the Associations’ service provider has been busy transitioning the permit system to a digital platform as well as planning and undertaking a comprehensive review of the training system delivery/assessment framework. Behind the scenes there is typically a lot of work to do and, with the increasing demands on their time, I would like to thank all members of the Board and sub-committees for their tireless efforts and commitment to both the industry and the Wellsite system. It is through those efforts, and the diverse knowledge and experience they each bring, that WPTW has become the international standard for work planning and authorisation.
We have set ourselves a busy schedule for the year, designed to deliver significant improvements in system performance and efficiency, adding value for our member organisations. We look forward to continuing to partner with you in this important industry initiative.
