Dear Members,

As Chair of the Wellsite Permit to Work (WPTW) Association, I am pleased to provide this update following our Annual General Meeting held on 30 October 2025.

The AGM provided an excellent opportunity to reflect on the Association’s achievements over the past year and to discuss our ongoing priorities for improving safety, consistency, and collaboration across wellsite operations. It was encouraging to see strong participation from our member organisations and the continued commitment to enhancing the effectiveness of the WPTW process.

Throughout the year, our focus has remained on strengthening the Digital WPTW System and supporting its integration across the industry. This initiative continues to deliver measurable benefits in accessibility, transparency, and operational efficiency. The feedback provided by our focus groups and training participants has been invaluable in refining system features and confirming it remains practical for field use.

Looking ahead, the Association will continue to prioritise:

  • Consistency and alignment of the Wellsite System across Member organisations
  • Ongoing training and competency development
  • Continuous improvement of the digital platform to meet evolving operational needs.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all members, partners, and contributors for your continued engagement and support. Your collaboration remains central to the success of the WPTW framework and to maintaining the high safety standards our industry depends on.
