With online data theft and unauthorised access to cloud-based systems increasing, the WPTWA recognises the responsibility to continually improve our data protections and will shortly be implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (2FA) to the Digital Administration System (DAS) as an extra layer of cyber security to protect Member company’s sensitive data within the WPTW system.

The key reasons that WPTWA is implementing 2FA are:

  • Providing an additional step of our system to meet regulatory standards and frameworks.
  • Increasing an additional layer of security beyond just a username and password to protect Member’s data.
  • Mitigating the risk associated with password theft.
  • Conforming with our Member companies IT security protocols.

As users in the field need to be able to access Digital PTW App for processing their permits during absence of network connection and work offline, the 2FA will be implemented ONLY to the Wellsite DAS very soon. Once it is implemented, please follow the step in the diagrams below to activate and ongoing login to DAS.
