Phase 2 of the digital rollout is progressing as planned. A recent review of progress conducted in consultation with several member organisations revealed that the digital system is delivering significant benefits in terms of performance monitoring, transparency, consistency, and efficiency as well as several opportunities to further enhance user satisfaction.
The Association is currently in the preliminary stages of planning an overhaul of the online training facility. This process includes consultation with member companies, as well as industry and adult learning experts. The objectives are to enhance the user experience, ensure alignment with recognised standards, streamline the whole process from booking through to certificate issue as well provide confidence that the learning objectives are being met and maintained.
Tony Preston has retired after four years of Board Service, including three years on and the Audit Governance and Risk Committee. Tony has been replaced by Colin Habarow (HSSE Manager – Shell QGC Wells). On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Tony for his contribution and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours.
The Systems Operations Committee has two new Members – Robert Schmidt (HSEQ Manager – Wild Desert) and Vincent James (Executive General Manager – Wells MPC Kinetic). We welcome them into the Committee and look forward to the knowledge and experience that they can bring.
