As Federal and State Government Covid-19 restrictions are implemented and new medical advice is published, the Association is carefully considering the impact this evolving situation may have on the industry in general and its activities going forward. We are carefully monitoring continuity of our operations and development/testing work currently being undertaken. These, of course, are secondary to the safety and health of our suppliers’ and member company employees. As an organisation we have completely suspended travel and personal contact for the foreseeable future. We are working closely with our suppliers to ensure we do not, through contract requirements, impose any unnecessary risk on people.
As the User Acceptance Testing progresses, the feedback we are receiving from our Members and users continues to strengthen my confidence in the Digital System and the real value it will bring to the industry.
I am happy to announce that as of our most recent Board Meeting, we have settled on a name and that the Digital Project will be called Wellsite Digital. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who sent in name suggestions.
With Wellsite Digital nearing its rollout phase, preparation has intensified on preparing training materials for our Users, Member Administrators, WPTWA Administrators and IT stakeholders in the use of the System.
Our goal is to ensure that the ease of use, efficiency, and stakeholder interaction which defines the Wellsite Permit to Work Association System advances with the move to the Wellsite Digital
Moving into the future the Association will be looking towards:
- Carrying out our new Strategic Plan
- Adapting our training materials and processes to the Digital Project
- Improving our online presence.
